In short

What is prohibited

Do not post, send, request or solicit sexual content involving a minor, or any content that sexualises, endangers or exploits a child in any way. That includes, without being limited to:

This applies to everything on Sleep on Call: your profile, display name, bio, avatar and background, your chats and the GIFs you send, live-room topics and comments, and your voice in calls and rooms.

Sleep on Call is for adults

You need to be 18 or over. Sleep on Call puts you in live voice conversations with adults you have not met, so we built it for grown-ups. We ask for your age when you sign up, and by using the service you are confirming it is accurate. If we ever learn an account belongs to someone under 18, we remove it.

If you believe you are talking to someone under 18, report them with the child safety reason.

How to report it in the app

Wherever you can report someone in Sleep on Call, child safety is one of the reasons you can choose:

You can also block the person, which hides you from each other.

Or email support@sleeponcall.com. Do not attach, forward or screenshot the material itself — tell us who posted it and where, and we will find it.

What happens to a report

A child safety report is escalated to a person straight away. It does not wait in a queue to be noticed.

When you report a chat, the messages you report are kept with the report, so they can still be reviewed if the conversation is later deleted. Calls and rooms are never recorded, so there is no recording to review: if something was said aloud, email us what happened.

Where a report is confirmed, we remove the content immediately, permanently remove the account, and report it to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) or the relevant authority. If we are legally required to disclose information, or need to in order to protect someone’s safety, we do.
